What we do:

Trial Technology

After months of depositions and years of discovery, you finally have a trial date.

It’s time to get in full-blown trial mode. You burn through a stack of legal pads and draft outlines, anticipating objections and contemplating visuals. You are confident you have the law and facts on your side but worry about the most reliable way to present your case to the jury – that is where a professional Trial Consultant comes in.

It’s called a “hotseat” for a reason. Only the best of the best should sit in it.

A professional presenter will work with the legal team to show the jury your story, the way you want it told, the way you want it shown. Juries are smart and that means the most sophisticated presentations with exhibits, graphics and video depositions are what they have come to expect. We will present your evidence efficiently and accurately.

Trial Tips: Use a variety of tech to keep your jury engaged. In a recent trial in Boston, the lawyers were required to question witnesses from a podium more than 30 feet away. This restriction created an invisible barrier between counsel and the jurors. For the defense closing, our trial consultant suggested displaying the closing slides on the ELMO, which was positioned right in front of the jury box but hadn’t been used by either party during trial. Armed with a printed set of demonstratives and markers, the attorney displayed his “slides” on the ELMO and delivered his summation just a few feet from the jury, where he used the proximity to great effect.

Trial Graphics

You may know that oral evidence, paired with demonstratives, can increase juror retention up to 90 percent. That’s why we team with skilled designers who work with the trial team to incorporate your key theories and themes into compelling demonstrations that educate and persuade.

Trial Tips: Have a backup plan for court boards. Ask your graphic designer to be in the courthouse for openings and closings – if opposing counsel successfully objects to your boards or slides prior to the start of court, your designer can tweak a demonstrative “on the fly” and help preserve your message.

Remote Trial

It doesn’t matter where you go, we can connect you. Whether it’s a deposition, an arbitration, or an afternoon strategy session with a key witness, we can get you connected so you can maximize your budget and your time. If you are in Honolulu or Switzerland, we can take you to trial.

  • Why use a trial consultant?

Simply put, a trial consultant is a professional presenter. Today’s jurors are more sophisticated than ever and are well-versed in visual media presentations. We work with your team to create and present compelling, visually distinctive demonstratives, coupled with trial exhibits and other relevant media, to support your argument to the judge and jury. You’ve worked hard to prepare your case; let us help you by presenting it in the most persuasive and efficient manner.
