    Ken Reed is the Managing Director of Cape trial. Ken has been a forerunner in the trial presentation and consulting world for years.

  • Ross Jones

    IT Director

    Ross has 25 years of hands-on experience in computer hardware and software, LAN/WAN and Windows Server Support and administration.

    Ross provides large war room design, setup and support, in addition to document preparation. His trial presentation and videography work is second to none. Ross worked on the BP Oil Spill Litigation as part of the trial tech team that managed over 125 million documents and over 3000 hours of video testimony.

    If Ross is not setting up and running the war room, he is in the "hot seat" in the courtroom, overseeing the trial presentation technology.

    When Ross gets the rare break from his busy trial schedule, he enjoys taking cruises.

  • Roman Rosas

    Associate VP of Operations

    Roman has 18 years of experience in Litigation Technology Support. Roman's career commenced with him working as in-house support expert for a national law firm. This early experience enabled him to assist firms with large complex litigation trials across the country.

    As a lead trial presenter and consultant, Roman provides litigation support from database analysis and implementation to trial database preparation. Roman consults with clients nationally on anything trial related from electronic document discovery best practices to production strategies.

    Roman is a Concordance Certified Software Administrator and has provided end-user training for various litigation support software including iPro, iConect and Sanction.

    Roman enjoys traveling and exploring.

  • Michael Kauffmann

    Senior Consultant

    Michael Kauffmann has been working as a consultant in the legal industry for over 20 years. Since 2001, he has done extensive work in videography, video editing and production, demonstrative graphic design, equipment setup, and audio/visual presentations. He has a proven track record of quickly turning around accurate work product in difficult situations. Years of experience dealing with high demands and short deadlines have led to an ability to efficiently troubleshoot hardware, software, video and data issues in a timely manner. Michael has extensive training and experience with many of the leading litigation, video editing, and demonstrative design software applications, such as Oncue, Premiere, and PowerPoint. Combining that with a strong background in audio/visual equipment and communications skills, Michael provides exceptional remote and in-person support from the discovery process through closing arguments. With a great ability to organize and manage the many moving parts throughout the litigation process, he has assisted clients remotely and in person with depositions, document production, CLE presentations, focus groups, arbitrations, mediations, courtroom and war room setups, and trial presentations. Some of the litigation he has extensive experience in involves product liability, medical malpractice, employment law, personal injury, transportation, anti-trust, environmental, toxic exposure, intellectual property, and construction defect cases. Prior to joining Cape Trial, Michael was a consultant with Precision Trial Solutions, Impact Trial Consulting, Legal Concierge, FTI Consulting and Naegeli Reporting.
